Upon arrival at Kathmandu's international airport, a “We Trek & Expeditions” representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Boudhanath, a peaceful area known for its iconic stupa.

A beautiful day of hiking on a balcony trail overlooking the valley. We then descend and follow the river to reach the village of Braka. We can visit the village and its old monastery before continuing to Manang. A restful afternoon in Manang. For those who wish, there is the option of an acclimatization walk to Gangapurna Lake, or climbing to the promontory overlooking the lake and the village.

We continue on well-marked paths, crossing small streams and passing traditional villages where locals practice yak herding. Here, we check into a teahouse or lodge and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Along the way, we pass small seasonal herding settlements and scenic streams, with panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges. The terrain is moderately challenging, with some rocky and uneven sections as we approach the base camp.

After breakfast in Shree Kharka, we begin our trek toward Yak Kharka, a high-altitude pasture settlement surrounded by spectacular views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows, yak grazing pastures, and moraine landscapes, with occasional rocky sections.
Yak Kharka is a seasonal grazing settlement where trekkers can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and panoramic mountain vistas. This stop also allows further acclimatization before continuing toward Manang or other high passes.

Today is the highlight of the trek: crossing the Thorong La Pass, one of the highest trekking passes in the world. Start very early in the morning, often around 4:00–5:00 AM, to avoid strong winds and enjoy clear mountain views. The trail is steep and challenging, but every step rewards you with panoramic vistas of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri peaks.
After several hours of steady climbing, reach Thorong La Pass (5,416 m). Take time to celebrate your achievement, take photos, and enjoy the breathtaking 360° Himalayan panorama. From the pass, descend gradually through rocky terrain, yak pastures, and small settlements to Muktinath (3,802 m), a sacred pilgrimage site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.

After breakfast at Muktinath, we begin a descent through the Kali Gandaki Valley. The trail first leads to Jomsom (2,720 m), a bustling market town and administrative center of the region. After exploring Marpha, we descend further to Tatopani (1,200 m), known for its natural hot springs, a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after the long trek. The journey passes through dry river valleys, terraced farmlands, and pine forests, offering continuous views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

The trek passes through several small villages where locals welcome trekkers with traditional hospitality. From Ghorepani, the trail descends steeply through dense rhododendron and oak forests to Ulleri, passing traditional Magar villages and terraced fields. Continue the long stone steps down to Tikhedhunga, then walk along the riverside to Hille, where your trekking route ends.
At Hille, meet your vehicle for a scenic drive to Pokhara (3–4 hrs), passing through Birethanti and Nayapul, and along winding roads lined with farmland and small settlements. Arrive in Pokhara (827 m) by late afternoon and check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest by Phewa Lake.
