This 10–11 day adventure combines the best of Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and wildlife experiences. The journey begins in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital, where ancient temples, bustling markets, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites introduce you to the country’s rich history and culture.
From Kathmandu, travel to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. The serene Phewa Lake, panoramic Himalayan views, and relaxed lakeside atmosphere offer the perfect prelude to your trek.
The trek starts from Kande, ascending through terraced farmlands, charming villages, and dense rhododendron forests. Highlights include Ghorepani, a picturesque village perched on a ridge, and the iconic Poon Hill (3,210 m), where an early morning hike rewards you with breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machapuchare, and Nilgiri ranges. Along the trail, you experience the warm hospitality of local Magar and Gurung communities, traditional villages, and scenic forested landscapes.
After descending to Hille, you return to Pokhara before heading to Chitwan National Park, located in Nepal’s subtropical Terai lowlands. Here, adventure meets wildlife as you explore the park via canoeing, guided jungle walks, and jeep safaris. You may spot one-horned rhinoceroses, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, and if lucky, even a Bengal tiger. Upon arrival at Kathmandu's international airport, a “We Trek & Expeditions” representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Boudhanath, a peaceful area known for its iconic stupa.

Today we leave the valley of Kathmandu and take the road for Bandipur, a picturesque village of Newari traders. This place has superb views of the Himalayan range including Mount Manaslu (8163m). This afternoon, we take a short walk in the vicinity of this village which is famous for its orange trees.

After breakfast in Bandipur, drive to Pokhara (approximately 1.5–2 hrs), enjoying scenic views of the Trishuli and Seti River valleys along the way. From Pokhara, continue by vehicle to Kande (1,600 m), the starting point of today’s trek.
Begin your trek through terraced fields, small villages, and lush forested trails. The path gradually ascends, offering glimpses of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. Arrive at Pothana (1950 m) in the afternoon, a charming village nestled amidst rhododendron and oak forests, with panoramic mountain views. Check into your lodge and enjoy the evening surrounded by nature.

After breakfast in the lap of Himalayan, hike towards the small pass of Deurali and descend to Tolka before reaching the village of Landruk, mainly inhabited by the Gurung ethnic group. After taking a break to observe the area and continue the hike about 5-6 hours to Landruk village from where you can enjoy the scenic views of Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli and Annapurna South.

After breakfast at Lodge, hike down to the Modi Khola cross suspension bridge and hike up to Ghandruk village home to the Gurung ethnic group. The village is known for its culture and charming dry-stone houses. Stroll around the village and try out the Gurung cultural dress for a photo. Overnight at Local lodge with the beautiful overview of the Machhapuchhare and Annapurna range.

This new day of trekking takes you through rice paddies and rhododendron forests.
You make a detour to visit a small Hindu temple, which you reach via a stepped trail surrounded by tea plantations.
Then you begin an ascent to the Bhaisekharka offering views of Annapurna,Machapuchare. You ascend along a beautiful trail in a pleasant natural setting to reach Bhaise Kharka for lunch.
In the afternoon, you continue your trek through a dense rhododendron forest, to Tadapani, where you spend the night.

Today’s trek begins with a gentle descent through enchanting rhododendron and oak forests, alive with birdsong and rich vegetation. The trail gradually ascends toward Banthanti, where you can rest and enjoy tea with mountain views. Continuing uphill, you pass through mossy woodlands and reach Deurali Pass (2,675 m), offering stunning vistas of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Machapuchare. From here, a pleasant descent through dense rhododendron forest brings you to the vibrant Magar village of Ghorepani, known for its traditional houses and panoramic mountain backdrop.

Wake up early for the hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas, with panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Machapuchare. After enjoying the scenery and taking photos, descend back to Ghorepani for a hearty breakfast.
From Ghorepani, the trail descends steeply through dense rhododendron and oak forests to Ulleri, passing traditional Magar villages and terraced fields. Continue the long stone steps down to Tikhedhunga, then walk along the riverside to Hille, where your trekking route ends.
At Hille, meet your vehicle for a scenic drive to Pokhara (3–4 hrs), passing through Birethanti and Nayapul, and along winding roads lined with farmland and small settlements. Arrive in Pokhara (827 m) by late afternoon and check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest by Phewa Lake.

After breakfast, depart Pokhara for a scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, located in Nepal’s lowland Terai region. The journey takes you along the picturesque Prithvi Highway, following the Trishuli River through green hills, valleys, and traditional villages. Upon arrival at Sauraha (Chitwan), you check into your jungle lodge or resort near the park.
After lunch, attend a short briefing about Chitwan’s wildlife activities and the park’s rich biodiversity. In the afternoon, enjoy a village walk or visit to the Tharu community, where you’ll experience the local culture and traditional lifestyle. In the evening, watch a Tharu cultural dance performance before dinner at the lodge.

Begin your day early with a peaceful canoe ride on the Rapti River, gliding past calm waters where you can spot mugger crocodiles, gharials, and a variety of colorful water birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a short rest. In the afternoon, set out on an exciting jeep safari through the grasslands and dense forests of Chitwan National Park. After breakfast, you bid farewell to the lowlands of Chitwan and begin your journey back to Kathmandu.
