Khopra Trek
The Khopra Ridge Trek (also known as the Khopra Danda Trek) is one of Nepal’s best-kept secrets, a stunning off-the-beaten-path journey that offers panoramic Himalayan views, rich culture, and peaceful trails away from the crowds. Nestled in the heart of the Annapurna region, this trek combines natural beauty, authentic village life, and breathtaking mountain vistas into one unforgettable adventure.
Unlike the more popular routes like Ghorepani or Annapurna Base Camp, the Khopra Ridge Trek takes you through tranquil rhododendron forests, traditional Magar and Gurung villages, and pristine alpine landscapes. The highlight of the trek is Khopra Ridge (3,660m), a magnificent viewpoint that opens up a 240° panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including peaks such as Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Hiunchuli.
For those seeking an extra thrill, a day hike to Khayar Lake (4,600m) adds a sacred and scenic touch to the journey. Believed to be holy by local Hindus, this serene lake rests beneath towering peaks and offers one of the most spectacular high-altitude experiences in the region.
Whether you’re drawn by the peaceful ambiance, the cultural encounters, or the majestic Himalayan views, the Khopra Ridge Trek promises a truly enriching journey, a perfect blend of nature, culture, and serenity in the heart of Nepal.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu's international airport, a “We Trek & Expeditions” representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Boudhanath, a peaceful area known for its iconic stupa.
After check-in, you can rest or explore the area, depending on your arrival time. In the evening, there will be a briefing session about the trek.
You’ll also enjoy a “Welcome Dinner” with the guide and all participants. Depending on each participant's arrival time, the "Welcome Dinner" may be changed to a "Farewell Dinner" on the last day.

Known for its wild beauty, cultural richness, and fewer crowds, this trek is a perfect choice for trekkers looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure with all the grandeur of the Himalayas.
Located in the Gorkha region of central Nepal, the Manaslu trail winds through remote mountain villages, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and diverse landscapes ranging from lush lowlands to high alpine valleys. The trek takes you through traditional Tibetan-influenced communities, offering a glimpse into cultures and lifestyles untouched by modernity.
The journey begins in the subtropical forests near Machha Khola and gradually climbs into rugged terrain with breathtaking views of Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Ganesh Himal. A major highlight of the trek is the thrilling crossing of the Larkya La Pass (5,160m), one of the most dramatic and scenic high mountain passes in Nepal. From the top, you’ll enjoy incredible views of glaciers and snow-covered peaks stretching in all directions.
This trek lies within the Manaslu Conservation Area, rich in biodiversity and home to wildlife like Himalayan tahr, blue sheep, and even snow leopards. Since the region is a restricted area, a special permit is required, and trekkers must be accompanied by a licensed guide.
A perfect trek for those seeking wild beauty, cultural depth, and a true Himalayan adventure off the beaten path.
This 10–11 day adventure combines the best of Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and wildlife experiences.
